TVXQ Music Video.

TVXQ!(東方神起) _ 왜 (Keep Your Head Down) _ MusicVideo

TVXQ.. used to be a group with the members of DBSK (another popular kpop group.) but they split up a little bit ago. This is a song with the 2 remaining members trying to keep the name TVXQ alive. I love this music video, the singers, the dancers, and the song itself. They're great and so talented and so good looking. ;) check them out. :)
'Paradise Kiss' Japanese movie. aired in 2011.

Yukari Hayasaka (Keiko Kitagawa) is a high school student who has become tired of her life of constant schooling. She then comes across a group of student fashion designers in need of a model for their "Paradise Kiss" clothing label. Yukari knows nothing about the fashion world and is taken back by the group's eccentric ways, but she soon comes to admire their free thinking ways and ability to pursue their dreams with a one track mind ...

This movie is a live-action version of an anime. I wasn't a fan of the anime, but the movie was really great. It was so cute and there was a really good flow throughout the movie. I had no idea that some of my favorite actors were in this, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw them. This movie was filled with beautiful and talented people, and the clothes were amazing. My favorite scene was the runway scene, the dress and the atmosphere was simply amazing, I loved it. Giving it a 4 out of 5 :)

Original 'Hana Kimi' aired in 2007

Based on a popular comic, this hilarious comedy follows the chaos, troubles and friendship at a boys’ boarding school after a girl-disguising-a-boy joins. Mizuki ASHIYA (Maki HORIKITA) has just come back to Japan from California where she was raised. She fell in love with a hopeful high jump hero Izumi SANO (Shun OGURI), but he has quitted after an accident. As she wants him to go back to the sport once again, she enters the same high school as a boy! With a short hair, flattened chest and lowered voice, she starts sharing the same room with Sano at the dorm. Living in a dorm at a boys’ high school is hard enough; changing clothes, bathrooms, etc., but things get even more complicated when Shuichi NAKATSU (Toma IKUTA) has a fancy feeling about Mizuki while Sano notices Mizuki is actually a girl and falls in love with her but she doesn’t notice he knows!

This Japanese drama is hilarious and adorable. Such a blast to watch, but to me, the ending felt a little empty, but it was totally worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. This drama has a Taiwanese version and recently just came out with a Remake version in Japan. There is some news that even Korea is planning on making their own 'Hana Kimi' version as well. The Taiwanese version and the Remake are really good, and more or less the same as this original Hana Kimi (this one). I'd give both this version, the Taiwanese version and the remake a 3.5 out of 5. I hope the Korean version will come out soon, I'm excited to see their take on it.

Cast List:

The actors are great, such as Horikita- Maki, and of course the lovely, handsome and talented Oguri-Shun. :)

'200 LBS. Beauty'
A Korean movie filmed in 2006.

Height, 1.69 meters and weight, 95 kilograms. These numbers stand for not only Hanna's body size but also her social status in a society where looks matter. In order to realize her dreams of becoming a singer and have the courage to love the handsome Sang-jun, she decides to go under the knife and turns into the fairest of the fair...

She learns the ups and downs of full on plastic surgery. And what it means to become a true singer and to truly fall in love. This movie is fun and endearing and has some great music. It'll make you laugh out loud and sing along. I am a huge fan of the main actress, kim-ah-joong, I strongly suggest checking out her dramas and movies. A personal favorite of mine is 'That Fool!' a drama she stars in. The other actors did well and it was filmed beautifully. I'll give this movie 3.5 out of 5. :)

'Secret Garden' Filmed in 2010.

The drama tells the story of Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin), an arrogant and eccentric CEO who maintains the image of seeming perfection, and Gil Ra Im (Ha Ji Won), a poor and humble stuntwoman whose beauty and body are the object of envy amongst top actresses. Their accidental meeting, when Joo Won mistakes Ra Im for actress Park Chae Rin, marks the beginning of a tense, bickering relationship, through which Joo Won tries to hide a growing attraction to Ra Im that both confuses and disturbs him. To complicate matters further, a strange sequence of events results in them swapping bodies.

This drama is funny and so cute. The actors and actresses are amazing and some of my favorites, and the storyline is unique, and the way they portrayed it was very well done. The chemistry between the 2 main actors will make your toes curls.

But, it felt a little weird to me after it ended, I can't really explain it. Even though it got great reviews and is one of the most popular dramas within this past year. It just wasn't it for me, I think it might be because it jumped around a little bit to parts that I wasn't fond of. When you watch it, you might understand how I feel or you will love this drama. Everyone is different. So with mixed feelings I'd probably give it somewhere around 3.5 to 4 out of 5.

Jeon Jin Ho (played by lee-min-ho) is pretending to be gay in order to gain access to a mysterious mansion that was built by a famous architect Mr.Park. His daughter, Park Kae In (played by son-ye-jin) would never accept him as a renter so he pretended to be gay. His hobbies include organization and ironing, and he’s known for his stoic poker face. He’s a stickler for cleanliness, but he also has a talent for figuring out women’s feelings. Kae In is very trusting even though she has a habit of being betrayed. However that doesn't stop her from giving people the benefit of doubt and Jin Ho is no different. How will Kae In react when she finds out that her gay roommate is not actually gay at all and that he has fallen for her?

This is a beautiful, heartwarming and funny drama. It will make u smile and cry. This is my favorite drama of all time. I'm giving it a 4.5 out of 5. Even though it's my favorite drama I won't give it a 5 out of 5, I'm a perfectionist, and although this drama was amazing, it, of course, isn't perfect. I think I just have really high expectations when it comes to dramas and movies.

Cast List:

These actors and actresses are beyond talented and beautiful. I love lee-min-ho, he's starring in a new action drama called 'City Hunter'. If you like amazing dramatic stories about love and revenge, then I think it's a drama that you should definitely check out.

'You're Beautiful' Korean drama. aired in 2009

The management company of the idol group A.N.JELL insisted on adding a new singer to the group as the lead vocal, Tae Kyung's voice was hurting. However, the new member, Mi Nam, had to go to the States to repair a botched eye job just before signing the contract. His agent came up with the idea of having his twin sister, Mi Nyu,to stand in for him and pretend that she was her brother. The two of them grew up in an orphanage and Mi Nyu, who was all set to become a nun, agreed to this charade as she didn't want to spoil her brother's chance of fame which would make it easier to look for their mother...
A really great and adorable drama... The boys are so sweet, good looking, funny, and talented. The actresses are really great and very beautiful. I'd give this a 3.5 out of 5. :)
Some of my most favorite actors and singers. (Jang Geun Suk has the cutest smile!)
Lee Hong Ki from F.T Island and Jung Yong Hwa from CNBlue

Cast List:

'Hana Yori Dango' Japanese drama. aired in 2005

In my last post I talked about 'Boys Before Flowers' and how it was based off of a Japanese anime and drama. This is the drama, its slightly different from the korean version but every bit as good. The actors are talented and fun to look at. 3.5 out of 5 :)

Makino Tsukushi is the only poor student at Eitoku Gakuen, the school of the ridiculously rich and privileged that is ruled by Flower 4 or F4, a group of four boys who come from extremely powerful families: Domyoji Tsukasa, the leader and heir of the Domyoji World Finance Group; Hanazawa Rui, the introverted son of a large company; Nishikado Sojiro, a player who is the heir of a tea ceremony school; and Mimasaka Akira, a madam killer with ties to the underground. If a student gets on the F4’s bad side, he/she gets a red notice and is bullied and driven out of school. Makino hopes to pass her days quietly-- without drawing any attention to herself-- but one day, she stands up to Domyoji in defense of her friend. The next day, Makino gets the dreaded red notice. Even though she is harassed, Makino decides to keep going to school because she is a “tough weed”. She declares war right back on the F4. Her resolve gets the attention of her crush Hanazawa Rui and oddly enough, rouses romantic feelings in her worst enemy, Domyoji Tsukasa. The series is based on the Japanese shoujo manga "Hana Yori Dango" (Boys Before Flowers) by Kamio Yoko.

'Boys Before Flowers' Korean drama. aired in 2009

This is a korean drama based off of a Japanese anime which then turned into a Japanese drama called, 'Hana Yori Dango' which is a great drama, as well. The Japanese version follows the anime a lot more, but the korean version is really good in it's own way.

Jan Di is an average girl whose family owns a dry-cleaning shop that is located near the luxurious and well-known Shin Hwa College. Jan Di meets the four richest and spoiled boys when she delivers laundry to the school one day. The boys are known as the F4 and cause trouble to those who speak out against them. It's filled with drama and heartfelt moments. 3.5 out of 5 :)

'Jungle Fish 2' Korean drama aired in 2010.

This is a short and somewhat unknown drama. There is an original Jungle Fish, but you can't really find the original anywhere. Jungle Fish 2 has a similar focus to the first, dealing with current social issues faced by the youth both at school and beyond, as well as their friendships and concerns. It's a pretty realistic look on life of korean high school kids. Many have their own dark secrets and things they wish they could get rid of. Sort of a short korean version of Degrassi. It's dark and will make you so angry with society and judgmental people, each episode I watched reminded me more and more to never judge someone and to remind the people in my life how much I love them. 3.5 out of 5 :)

Cast List.

I love these actors, Lee Joon is in one of my favorite korean pop group, MBLAQ. Check them out. :)

'Love You' or 'Drunken To Love You'
Taiwanese drama.
aired in 2011

I really enjoyed this drama, lots of heartbreaking scenes, but also laugh out loud moments and you can't help but go 'AWWW!'
It's about 2 people (a guy and a girl :P) who were planning a marriage proposal to their girlfriend/boyfriend. Though things don't go as plan and they end up at a hotel bar together and get drunk as hell. Because of the heartbreak that they felt from their failed marriage proposals they end up proposing to each other and even get legally married. They wake up the next morning and start unraveling what happened that night and eventually start falling in love. It's a drama I recommend so much. I love the actors, Joesph Chang and Rainie. I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

'Tokyo Dogs' a Japanese Drama aired in 2009
Though I love the actors in this drama, I was still hesitant to watch it. It's a police drama and it was a first for me. It's hilarious and sweet and has lots of action scenes (which I love).

Synopsis:
Takakura So witnessed his father's murder at a young age. Pledging to catch the killer, he grows up to become an elite cop in New York City, where the criminal lives. His character is cool-headed and disciplined, yet adapts well. Because of major drug dealings, he gets sent to Tokyo to conduct a joint investigation with the Japanese police. There, he gets teamed up with, Kudo Maruo, a detective from a special investigative division. Kudo is a hot-blooded fighting expert due to his earlier days as a delinquent, but he makes a strong impression with his stylish appearance and is always interested in going on group dates. His personality, interests, and investigation methods are completely mismatched with Takakura's, but the two somehow work together to crack the case they've been given. I'd give it a 4 out of 5 :)

'Juui Dolittle' a Japanese drama. aired in 2010

Tottori Kenichi is a foul-mouthed but gifted veterinarian nicknamed Dolittle. He is the director of his animal clinic and rescues not only 'voiceless' pets but also helps their owners, who lack understanding and caution, with their problems and worries. Working with him is animal nurse Tajima Asuka. Hanabishi Masaru is Dolittle's friend from college, a charismatic vet and director of another animal hospital who has not only an opposite personality but also a different stance towards pet care. The drama focuses on the love triangle between those 3 and tries to teach the viewers about human-pet relationships.

Cast List:

There isn't that much romance in this drama, but still so good. It really reminds you to cherish not only your pets, but animals and nature in general. This drama was filmed with real Veterinarians looking over the script and filming. narimiya-hiroki who played Hanabishi Masaru as well as oguri-shun who played Tottori Kenichi are 2 of my favorite actors in Japan, so seeing them act alongside each other was a real treat for me. This drama will make you laugh and cry and cheer for joy. It truly is a wonderful drama. 4 out of 5 :)

This is a comment from a fan of this drama, I agree completely with this person so I wanted to share it: "This is the finale for this season. But I am hoping that there will be a sequel. There is also a lot I want to see happen. Especially the love triangle. It's only a start now of Dolittle-Asuka relationship. Hanabishi still needs to overcome his trauma. and many more. But I really really love how this drama ended. It's just pure love. Love for animals and love for human. It's really a wonderful production with great and wonder casts and staff. I truly love this drama. Nobody should miss this."

I really enjoyed watching this drama. It's about a girl, Gong Ah Jung, a level 5 Ministry of Culture official, who gets entangled in a web of lies when she mistakenly lies that she's married to Hyun Ki Joon, a hotel manager from an affluent family. Their relationship is further complicated when Ki Joon's ex-fiancée and a close friend of his brother's, Oh Yoon Joo, reappears in his life.

It's such a simple and heartwarming drama, the music and casting are great, and the two main characters were beyond adorable. I really enjoyed this drama. I'd give it a 4 out of 5 :)

My Pictures.

Every picture that I have posted and will post in the future have been taken by me, unless I say otherwise. I love photography and hope to someday travel the world taking breath taking pictures that help make people smile.

This is my last post about my friends. They mean the world to me so I can't help but share them with anyone and everyone.

This is Elly, one of my best friends. She's my little bookworm. We don't talk or hang out that often, but whenever we do it's always a blast. In many ways we are pretty different, but we get along extremely well. She's so beautiful and unique, and an amazing dancer. She has killer taste in music and right now I am waiting for a CD from her. She's perfectly imperfect and I can't wait until I am able to see her. :)

This is one of my best friends, her name is Roma. When we're together things can get pretty wacky and we always end up on an adventure. She makes me laugh so hard all the time. I love spending time at her house, she has so many awesome video games and movies and lives in an awesome neighborhood, so we're never bored. She's also the one that got me obsessed with Korean pop culture and anime. And both of those led me to Asian dramas, I watch Taiwanese, Korean, and Japanese. I love watching anime and dramas with her while discussing our favorite Korean artists. I love every moment that I get to spend with her. :)
